These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between Tiny Adventures Ltd (“Tiny Adventures”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the parent or guardian (“you” or “your”) for the provision of childcare services at Tiny Adventures Nursery.
By registering your child with Tiny Adventures, you agree to the following terms.
 
1. Child Information & Care Requirements
1.1 You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering your child with the nursery. This includes contact details, emergency contacts and relevant personal information.
 
1.2 Parents must inform the nursery immediately of any changes to the information provided during registration, including but not limited to:
 
Medical conditions or allergies
Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND)
Dietary requirements
Changes to emergency contacts
Any legal or custody arrangements relating to the child
 
1.3 Tiny Adventures may request documentation such as a copy of your child’s birth certificate to verify age and registration details.
 
1.4 Your child must not attend nursery if they are suffering from a contagious illness, including sickness, diarrhoea, chickenpox or other infectious conditions. Children must be symptom free for at least 48 hours before returning unless advised otherwise by a medical professional.

1.5 In the event of an accident or emergency, trained staff may administer basic first aid and seek medical assistance if necessary.

1.6 Staff may apply sun cream, nappy cream or administer approved medication in accordance with nursery policies where parental consent has been given.

1.7 Tiny Adventures has a legal duty to safeguard children. Where concerns arise regarding a child’s welfare, the nursery may share information with relevant authorities in accordance with safeguarding procedures.


2. Fees & Payments

2.1 Fees
Fees for childcare are outlined in the nursery’s current fee structure and may vary depending on:
Child’s age
Sessions booked
Funding eligibility
Additional services

A deposit may be required to secure your child’s place at the nursery. Deposits are normally non-refundable but may be offset against your final invoice where applicable.

Tiny Adventures reserves the right to review fees periodically. Parents will be given a minimum of four weeks notice of any fee changes.

2.2 Payment
Fees must be paid in advance using an agreed payment method such as:
Direct Debit
Bank transfer
Childcare vouchers
Tax-free childcare schemes
Late payments may result in:
An administration charge
Interest on overdue balances
Temporary suspension of childcare services until payment is received

2.3 Discounts
Any promotional offers or discounts, including sibling discounts or full-time booking discounts, are applied at the nursery’s discretion and may be withdrawn or amended at any time.

2.4 Late Collection
Parents must collect their child at the agreed time. Late collections may result in additional charges to cover staff supervision time.

If a child is not collected and contact cannot be made with a parent or authorised contact, the nursery may follow safeguarding procedures which may include contacting relevant authorities.

2.5 Absence & Holidays
Fees remain payable when your child is absent due to:
Illness
Family holidays
Bank holidays
Nursery closure days notified in advance
No refunds or session swaps will normally be given for absences.

3. Notice & Termination

3.1 Parents may cancel their childcare place within 14 days of accepting a place, unless childcare has already started.

3.2 After this period, parents must provide a minimum of four weeks written notice if they wish to withdraw their child from the nursery.

3.3 Tiny Adventures may terminate childcare arrangements with immediate effect where:

Fees remain unpaid
Parents breach nursery policies
Behaviour towards staff is unacceptable
A child’s behaviour presents a serious risk to staff or other children


4. Nursery Staff

4.1 During your child’s time at Tiny Adventures and for six months following the end of childcare, parents must not employ or attempt to employ any nursery staff directly.

4.2 If parents choose to arrange private babysitting directly with nursery staff outside nursery hours, this is done entirely at the parent’s own risk and is not the responsibility of Tiny Adventures Ltd.


5. Personal Property

5.1 Tiny Adventures cannot accept responsibility for personal items brought into the nursery including toys, clothing, prams, car seats or other belongings.

5.2 Children should not bring electronic devices with cameras or recording capabilities into the nursery.


6. Changes to Terms

Tiny Adventures reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where required due to operational, legal or regulatory changes.

Parents will normally receive four weeks notice of any significant changes.

7. Data Protection

Tiny Adventures processes personal information relating to parents, children and staff in accordance with UK data protection legislation and GDPR.

Personal data will only be used for purposes connected with providing childcare services, safeguarding responsibilities and legal obligations.

8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
