Raising money for Pudsey bear
The children had an absolutely fantastic time raising money for Children In Need. In the Great Explorers room the Senior Nursery Officer explained what the day was all about to our pre-schoolers. They understood about raising money and giving it to help children in need. All together we all raised £91.02 for the charity.
Tips for talking
Helping babies and young children learn skills for talking. Ways we can support and develop communication.
Have fun together
Use actions, sing, make noises and funny faces. Don’t be shy, being silly helps get their attention and makes them laugh.
Pyjama day
Pyjama day was a great success. Children and staff turned up in their PJ’s, slippers and dressing gowns. A few eyebrows were raised when some of our girls went to the shop to buy their lunch in their break.
Cake sale
Very popular with the children. With hindsight I think perhaps the cake display should not have been in the main hall. I do we believe we lost a few due to wondering Pre-Schoolers from our Great Explorers room.
Pudsey lost his spots
Did you know that Pudsey lost his spots on Friday? The children had to go and find them in the garden, This was no mean feat, the nursery garden is a very big area and full of trees. There are lots of hiding places for Pudsey’s spots. The children were very excited and found them all in no time at all. It is an delight to see the children’s smiles and having so much fun.
