Photographer took pictures of our Little models
Some stunning pictures of the children were taken in the nursery. The children were happy and comfortable with the photographer. She was a friendly lady and put the children at ease.
Tips for talking
Helping babies and young children learn skills for talking. Ways we can support and develop communication.
Comments not questions
Asking lots of questions can feel like it’s a test. Make it a conversation. Comment on what they are doing and what is happening.
Older Sibling's looked after their own
The older siblings went to the room to collect their younger brother or sister and had their photo’s taken together. This make the older ones glow with pride with the responsibility they felt and they loved it. The younger ones were happy and at ease because they were being taken by their sibling.
Children compared pictures
When the children got their pictures back they compared them. They love to look at pictures of themselves and their friends. This was a lot of fun and the smiles on the children’s faces said it all.
